DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

THE BLOW YOUR MIND (IN A GOOD WAY) SCIENCE SHOW

The 'Don't Try This At Home' show has been developed especially for schools and aligns with the Ministry of Education's curriculum levels 1, 2 and 3 science requirements, focusing on the physical world and material world categories. All Professor Boom's experiments are BIG, unique and most importantly FUN!! They are not experiments that the kids would be able to do at home, so they may not have seen experiments like these before. This is important as the kids are sure to be kept engaged.

While performing, the Professor asks the children science based questions, which he then solves using experiments. He explores sound waves, atmospheric pressure, vacuum, air pressure, magnetism, mass, transferral of energy, chemical reactions and heat combustion.

WHAT THE TEACHERS SAY

"Room 22 thoroughly enjoyed your science show yesterday. You presented the ideas at a level suited to the year 2’s and had them engaged in the whole process from beginning to end. What a finale!"

"I have to say that the afternoon spent watching your experiments was fantastic. The kids loved it and I was told
by the parents the next day that the kids were talking about the experiments at home and would not stop commenting about the day.

They were inspired by you. Their science language has developed so much that words such as friction, push, pull, and gravity are now being thrown around the class.

Thank you so much for making the time to come at such short notice."
